PBI with the head office is located outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.  PBI designs, develops, manufactures, and markets both the hardware and software components of a twelve-lead, diagnostic quality ECG device for use with an IBM compatible personal computer. The company received FDA clearance to market its Resting QRS-Card ECG product in November 1991 and Stress ECG in July 1998.
